Unless dissolved, the parliamentary proceedings will commence for five 5 years from the date of the first proceeding conducted after the General Election. At the end of the five-year period, the Parliament will be dissolved and within sixty 60 days from the date of its dissolution, a General Election has to be held to elect representatives for the House of Representatives.
