Public school teachers unions across Illinois have clung to these outdated pay schemes, despite evidence that shows salary schedules reward teachers for things that have little to do with improving student outcomes. Still, it is important to know how they work.

If you stuck to just clock hours and didn't take any extra classes outside of the school, you'd need many more clock hours than credits.
We don't pay for clock hours in our district but others do , but we do have to pay for our own credits that we take. So any additional schooling comes out of our pocket, but any class offered by the district that is given clock hours for is free.

Karst terrain means land having karst formations that exhibit surface and subterranean features of a type produced by the dissolution of limestone, dolomite, or other soluble rock and characterized by closed depressions, sinkholes, or caves. If a foot vertical separation distance can be maintained between the bottom of an unformed manure storage structure and limestone, dolomite, or other soluble rock, then the structure is not considered to be in karst terrain.
